This tailored sweater was inspired by lightweight lapel jackets worn in the spring and fall. It can be worn many ways - buttoned, partly buttoned, or unbuttoned with lapels folded back or draped closed. Shaping is minimal and only suggests the waist and bust, rather than hugging it. This design is named for Craigleith Provincial Park. This is a lovely spot on Georgian Bay where I’ve spent many peaceful hours sketching and knitting sweaters.

Yarn Requirements:
Finished bust size (30”, 33”, 36”, 39”, 42”, 45”, 48”, 51”, 54”) = (900, 1000, 1090, 1200, 1250, 1350, 1450, 1520, 1620) yards

Fit:
This semi-fitted jacket intended to be worn with 0” positive ease when buttoned, and has slight waist and bust shaping.

Construction:
The sweater is knit in one piece, from the bottom up. There is no seaming at all except for two short shoulder seams. The sleeves are picked up and knit down, so you can try on the sweater and adjust the length while knitting.

Techniques used:
Short rows, picking up and knitting edges, mattress stitch or preferred seaming method, buttonholes, knitting in the round.
